Dr. Pete Giambrone earned his degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University in 2015. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biology-Pre Med at the University of Alabama in 2009.
Originally from the Birmingham area, Dr. Giambrone always had an interest in medicine, and ultimately chose veterinary medicine. Before becoming a veterinarian, he gained valuable hands-on experience working full-time as a veterinary assistant while applying to veterinary school and continued working as an assistant during his summer breaks.
Dr. Giambrone has a special interest in surgery and internal medicine, with over a decade of experience in the field. He enjoys building lasting relationships with pet owners while caring for their companions throughout every stage of life. He believes in providing a spectrum of care, working closely with families to create treatment plans that best fit their pets’ needs and their individual circumstances.
Dr. Giambrone lives on a farm in Odenville with his wife, Alexandra (also a veterinarian), and his three children. The two own multiple dogs and cats, Rex-a blue tongue skink, a flock of chickens, and small hobby herd of cattle and goats.
Outside the clinic, you’ll often find Dr. Giambrone outdoors on the farm or in the woods, working out in the gym, or enjoying a University of Alabama sporting event. He looks forward to getting to know you and your pets while providing compassionate, personalized veterinary care for years to come.
